Born and raised in South Jersey, I earned my BA in Communication Studies (with a minor in Anthropology) from Stockton University. As an undergraduate student, I found a love for academic advising and student support and went on to earn my MSEd in College Counseling and Student Affairs from Monmouth University. Some of my prior higher ed experience includes serving as a first year advisor at Monmouth, as the coordinator/counselor for the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program at Kean University, and as an academic advisor at Rutgers Business School in Newark, NJ.

Since joining TCNJ in fall 2014, I have served as the Coordinator for Undergraduate Advising within the School of Business and as Assistant Dean for the School of Humanities & Social Sciences. In addition to my role as Associate Director for the Center for Student Success, I serve as a co-chair for the TCNJ Parent Network (for faculty and staff) and as an associate senator on our Staff Senate. Also, I have been involved with NACADA (The Global Community for Academic Advising) since graduate school, attending and presenting at regional conferences and participating as both a mentor and mentee in NACADA’s professional mentoring program.

I reside in New Jersey with my partner Jon, our two kids, and our bernedoodle Barkley. In my spare time, you can find me cheering on my kids at their sport games/activities and spending time with family and friends.

As Associate Director, my primary responsibilities and goals are:

Advising the First Year Undeclared-General Students and overseeing our Undeclared Peer Mentoring Program

Facilitating advising workshops for our faculty/staff advisors

Collaborating with/supporting our team of professional advisors

Liaising with our academic schools and various departments across campus
