Student Support Coordinator
Pathway Student Advisor/Transfer Student Support
Born and raised in New Jersey, I was thrilled to join the TCNJ Pride in September 2024. I’ve always loved helping students navigate their academic journeys and discover their own paths to success. I feel very lucky to be a place of support for all of our wonderful TCNJ students.
My journey to the world of academic advising is a bit unique! I earned my BS in Sport and Recreation Management from James Madison University in Virginia. There I discovered my passion for advising while working with student-athletes. This inspired me to pursue my M.Ed at the University at Buffalo and to expand my advising caseload beyond student-athletes. This is also where I discovered my love for Buffalo, NY. Buffalo will always hold a special place in my heart, and I often call it my second home.
Prior to joining TCNJ, I was fortunate to work with wonderful and diverse caseloads of students in Philadelphia, PA. At Drexel University, I supported undergraduate students as both a Transfer Admissions Counselor and Academic Advisor. I later transitioned to the University of Pennsylvania, where I had the opportunity to support online graduate students.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me exploring hiking trails around Ewing and the Delaware River with my partner or searching for new local restaurants in the area. I am always talking about my cat, Ruby, who always finds a way to keep my life interesting. I enjoy a good book, Taylor Swift, and playing board games with friends. As a lifelong sports fan, I’m always cheering on the New York Knicks, the Mets, and of course, the Buffalo Bills!
As a Student Support Coordinator, my primary responsibilities and goals are:
Assigned Advisor to TCNJ’s Pathway Program students
Academic coaching for all TCNJ students
Supplemental advising for all TCNJ students
Facilitating advising workshops for the campus community
Personalized support for transfer students
