Favorite thing about TCNJ and HSS

My favorite thing about TCNJ is the community! I have been able to form strong friendships, connect with faculty and staff members that inspire me most, and join the organizations that have given me a home away from home. Every time I step outside of my dorm, I feel as though I know everyone I pass by on my way to class — it is truly surreal to see how tight-knit of a community TCNJ is. TCNJ has provided me the spaces to be my authentic self, and I have truly felt accepted and loved each step of the way.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the Student Center (aka the Stud) because it truly is the HEART of campus! Whether I am there to work a shift, grab lunch, hang out with friends, take a break between classes, attend a Student Organization event, or have a meeting in the Student Government Office, I always feel at home at the Student Center because of its incredibly friendly environment.

Advice to new students

Welcome to TCNJ – we are so happy to have you here! My advice would be to put yourself out there and try something NEW! You never know what friends, experiences, organizations, or classes will change your life! TCNJ is filled with things to explore, so be sure to take advantage of these things & have the time of your life! :)
